EU Cohesion Policy to Create 1.3 Million Jobs and Boost GDP by 0.5% in 2021-2027 Programs

The EU Cohesion Policy programmes for 2021-2027 are expected to create 1.3 million jobs in the EU and increase the GDP by 0.5% on average by the end of the decade. With a total investment of €545 billion, it will promote socio-economic convergence, territorial cohesion, a social and inclusive Europe, and a green and digital transition. The policy will support research and innovation, digital transformation, climate mitigation and adaptation, sustainable urban mobility, a just transition, and a more social and inclusive Europe.
