Spain’s Industrial Production Index Grows by 1.5% in March 2023

The Industrial Production Index in Spain increased by 1.5% in March 2023 after seasonal and calendar effects were removed. The annual rate of the Industrial Production Index is 4.5% when adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects, and 5.3% in the original series. The Capital Goods sector experienced the highest annual variation in the original series at 12.6%, while Energy had the lowest at 1.0%. The IPI is a short-term indicator that measures the monthly evolution of the productive activity of industrial branches in Italy.
