Swiss Consumer Prices Remain Stable in April 2023 with 2.6% Inflation Compared to Previous Year

Swiss consumer prices remained stable in April 2023 compared to the previous month, according to the Federal Statistical Office. The consumer price index (CPI) was unchanged at 106.0 points, with inflation at 2.6% compared to the same month last year. Prices for air transport and package holidays, as well as clothing and footwear, increased while prices for hotels, fruiting vegetables, and heating oil decreased.
