Results of Blood and Urine Tests of Sick Youths at Halden Russetreff Revealed, Police to Close Investigation

Following the mysterious illnesses that occurred among young people during the Russ celebration at Fredriksten Festning in Halden on April 23, the police and healthcare professionals have received the results of the blood and urine tests that were conducted on the affected individuals. According to the East Police District, the blood samples were analyzed using multiple methods and tested for about 10,000 substances, but no new synthetic drugs or other unexplained substances were found. Some of the samples were taken several hours after the individuals became ill, which could have affected the test results. However, Oslo University Hospital is not expecting to find any other answers based on the current results. The police have conducted interviews with the involved individuals, who have been classified as witnesses, but no similarities or connections have been identified between the cases, other than becoming ill during the Russ celebration. The individuals have been informed of the test results, and the police in Halden do not plan to conduct any further investigations, and the case will be recommended for closure.
