Sweden’s inflation rate, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), decreased from 9.7% in May to 9.3% in June 2023. The month-on-month change was 1.1%. CPIF, which excludes changes in mortgage interest rates, had an inflation rate of 6.4% in June. Price increases were observed in summer-related services like package tours and car rentals. Rising mortgage costs and higher prices for international air travel contributed to the inflation rate. However, clothing prices decreased. The price base amount for 2024 increased compared to the previous year.
