On September 27, 2023, Pan Gongsheng, the Governor of the People’s Bank of China and Director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, met with Perry Warjiyo, the Governor of the Central Bank of Indonesia. During their meeting, the central bank governors from both countries signed a “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the People’s Bank of China and the Bank of Indonesia” and exchanged views on topics such as the economic situations in both countries and financial cooperation.
