The latest data from Statistics Sweden (SCB) reveals that in 2023, rents increased by an average of 4.1%, marking a significant rise compared to the previous year’s 1.7% change. The average monthly rent for a three-room apartment now stands at 8,095 SEK.

Over the past ten years, rent fluctuations have ranged from 0.8% to 2.2%. The 2023 increase of 4.1% represents the highest rental change since 1994.
