According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China’s electronic information manufacturing industry has continued its recovery and improvement in production during the first eight months of this year. The decline in exports has sustained a narrowing trend, profitability is recovering rapidly, and investments are stabilizing. From January to August, the value added by the electronic information manufacturing industry above a designated scale increased by 0.9% year-on-year, marking an improvement of 0.8 percentage points compared to the period from January to July. In August alone, the value added by the electronic information manufacturing industry above the designated scale increased by 5.8% year-on-year.
From January to August, fixed asset investment in the electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 9.5% year-on-year, which is 0.7 percentage points higher than the growth rate of industrial investment during the same period. This positive trend indicates a steady and accelerating recovery in the sector’s performance.
