The Asian Consultative Council of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) published a report titled “Inflation, external financial conditions and macro-financial stability frameworks in Asia-Pacific” on October 10.
The report summarizes how central banks in the Asia-Pacific region responded to various shocks in 2022, employing a combination of policies such as monetary policy, macroprudential policy, exchange rate policy, and capital flow management.
