According to preliminary data from Statistics Finland, the seasonally adjusted turnover of the industrial sector decreased by 14.1% in November 2023 compared to the same month in 2022. The seasonally adjusted turnover also saw a month-on-month decline of 2.1% in November 2023 compared to October.
This decrease follows a positive trend in October when turnover increased by 0.8%. In September, the turnover was 0.7% higher than the previous month. The latest figures indicate a notable contraction in industrial activity, reflecting potential challenges faced by the sector.
