Italy Updates Health Database with Latest Indicators

Italy has released the latest version of its Health for All database, a comprehensive system containing 4,000 health indicators. The database, structured for use with the World Health Organization’s HFA software, undergoes periodic updates. In this version, historical series in various sections have been refreshed, covering socio-demographic context, mortality by cause, lifestyles, prevention, chronic and infectious diseases, functional limitations, dependencies, healthcare assistance, hospital activity by pathology, and health resources.

The software facilitates graphical and tabular representation, simple statistical analysis, and comparisons across different years and territorial units. The updates aim to provide an accurate and up-to-date overview of Italy’s health landscape. The information is valuable for policymakers, researchers, and the public in understanding and addressing health-related challenges.
