On 21 November, Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Jørgensen and Norwegian Minister of Energy Terje Aasland will co‑chair the 7th EU‑Norway Energy Dialogue and convene the accompanying Energy Conference in Brussels. Norway, a major supplier of oil, gas and electricity, is an important partner as the EU phases out Russian fossil fuels and strengthens energy independence. The Dialogue will address energy security, the electricity market, progress on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and the integration of EU energy legislation in Norway. The Conference will bring together key actors from the energy sector to discuss reinforcing energy security, accelerating the energy transition, keeping energy affordable and advancing CCS technology. The opening speeches will be streamed on EBS+.
