Household Liquid Savings Rise 35 Billion SEK in Q3 2025

Statistical Office of Sweden (SCB) reported that by the end of the third quarter of 2025 households’ liquid savings totaled 35 billion Swedish kronor, an increase of 18 billion kronor from the same quarter in 2024. Net withdrawals from bank accounts were 6 billion kronor, down from 16 billion kronor the previous year. The data are presented in current prices and exclude tax deferrals, pension provisions, and other insurance reserves.
