Swedish fund assets topped a record 8 540 billion kronor at the end of the third quarter of 2025, up 342 billion (4.2 %) from the previous quarter, Statistics Sweden (SCB) reported on 25 November 2025. The total asset value marks a new high, surpassing the previous year‑end peak reached earlier in the year, SCB’s national economist Malcolm Svensson Rothmaier said. Equity‑fund placements rose 5.3 % to 5 935 billion kronor, while net investments in equity funds returned to positive levels at +22 billion kronor after two quarters of negative flow. A total of 850 active Swedish funds were recorded in the statistics. During the same period, the average exchange rate of the euro against the Swedish krona was 11.12, up from 10.96 in the previous quarter, while the dollar averaged 9.52, down from 9.67.
