FRA presents digital justice findings to EU e-Justice Working Party

The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) presented findings from its report on ‘Digitalising Justice: A fundamental rights-based approach’ and an upcoming report on assessing high‑risk AI to the EU Working Party on e‑Justice on 24 November in Brussels. The presentations highlighted opportunities that digitalisation can bring to justice systems, provided risks are anticipated and human rights protection is integrated from the start. FRA also discussed key issues related to high‑risk AI systems, including the need to facilitate fundamental rights impact assessments in practice. Staff from the Council’s General Secretariat received the findings. The event was invited by the Danish Presidency of the Council and attended by FRA staff.
