Sweden Secures AMIF Funding for Two New Migration Integration Projects

Sweden has secured three years of European Commission AMIF funding for two new migrant integration projects. The first project will establish a Centre for Migration and Integration at the Stockholm School of Economics, producing research on how migration policies, business models and working conditions affect integration and social sustainability. The second, led by the NGO Kompis Sverige, will develop a national model for initiatives that support the social integration of newly arrived third‑country nationals. The model will be implemented by civil society organisations in collaboration with other actors, focusing on language training, civic education and social participation, and will include activities in at least 40 municipalities. Both projects aim to create sustainable integration pathways for third‑country national migrants in Sweden.
