EU Launches Youth Entrepreneurship Policy Academy Report with 20+ Policy Pointers

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion has released a report summarising lessons and policy pointers from the Youth Entrepreneurship Policy Academy (YEPA). The academy, which began on 9 March 2023 and ran until October 2025, gathered more than 150 policy officers, programme managers, young entrepreneurs, networks and researchers across Europe. Participants identified gaps between young people’s interest in entrepreneurship and the low rate of start‑up creation, citing lack of knowledge, funding barriers, limited professional networks and administrative hurdles. Through workshops, webinars and a final conference, attendees drafted actionable policy recommendations aimed at supporting youth entrepreneurship at national and regional levels. The report is now available for download and is intended to inform future initiatives.
