German Manufacturing New Orders Rise 5.6% in November 2025

Provisional data released by Germany’s Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) show that real new orders in manufacturing rose 5.6% month‑on‑month in November 2025, after seasonal and calendar adjustment, and were 10.5% higher than the same month a year earlier. New orders for capital goods climbed 7.9%, intermediate goods 1.0% and consumer goods 8.2%. Foreign orders were up 4.9%, including 8.2% from the euro area and 2.9% from outside it, while domestic orders rose 6.5%.
