Deputy Minister Rufo to Attend 2026 Entente Cordiale Summit

On 7 April 2026, Deputy Minister of Armed Forces Alice Rufo will attend the opening ceremony of the Entente Cordiale Summit at the Hôtel National des Invalides. The summit, launched in 2024 to mark the 120th anniversary of the Entente Cordiale, is jointly patronised by King Charles III and President Macron. It brings students from France and the United Kingdom to discuss contemporary challenges. The 2026 theme – Conflicts, New Technologies and Security – has attracted more than 700 registrants, with the top ten presenting at the Sorbonne on 8 April. Entente Cordiale Day 2026 will honour the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize laureates, with awards presented at Buckingham Palace and the Élysée. The summit will feature speeches by senior military and academic leaders, a minute of silence for fallen youth, and a press‑only cocktail. Media accreditation applications are required before 7 April. Contact the Centre Médias du Ministère des Armées et des Anciens Combattants: media@dicod.fr or 0988673333.
