According to the Statistics Finland Service Sector Sales View, the time‑adjusted revenue of the service sector rose 5.4 % in March 2026 compared with March 2025. Volume, adjusted for price changes, increased 3.5 %. February saw a 4.3 % revenue rise and 3.2 % volume growth. All growth occurred outside the retail trade sector. The transportation and storage sector saw the strongest rise with 7.4 % revenue growth; professional, scientific and technical activities saw a 5.7 % increase, the highest volume growth at 5.6 % in the service sector. Administrative and support services grew 6.0 % in revenue and 3.8 % in volume. Information and communication services grew 5.3 % revenue and 3.9 % volume. Other services, including arts, entertainment, recreation, and accommodation and food services, recorded moderate increases of 3.9 %, 3.2 %, 3.1 % and 2.0 % respectively.
