Financial Holding Companies Report 2024-2025 Data

Statistics Norway has released updated financial figures for Norway’s financial holding companies, covering the 2024 and 2025 accounting periods. Total assets are projected to rise from 78,460 million NOK in 2024 to 90,857 million NOK in 2025. Investments in subsidiaries are expected to increase from 50,751 million NOK to 71,921 million NOK, while loans to group and associated companies are set to grow from 226 million NOK to 467 million NOK. The profit or loss on ordinary activities is forecasted to decline slightly, from 15,049 million NOK in 2024 to 14,539 million NOK in 2025, with overall profit or loss falling from 14,921 million NOK to 13,986 million NOK. Operating income is projected to rise from 7,360 million NOK to 11,206 million NOK. These figures highlight the expanding scale and profitability of financial holding companies in Norway.
