France and Kenya will host the Africa Forward summit in Nairobi on 11‑12 May 2026. The event, co‑organised by President Emmanuel Macron and the Kenyan president, will bring together African heads of state, governments, businesses, youth, artists and civil society. It is the first summit of this type to be hosted and co‑presided with an English‑speaking country. The agenda will focus on cross‑investment, strengthening health systems, food sovereignty, digital competitiveness, energy access and connectivity.
