France and Kenya to Host Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi

France and Kenya will host the Africa Forward summit in Nairobi on 11‑12 May 2026. The event, co‑organised by President Emmanuel Macron and the Kenyan president, will bring together African heads of state, governments, businesses, youth, artists and civil society. It is the first summit of this type to be hosted and co‑presided with an English‑speaking country. The agenda will focus on cross‑investment, strengthening health systems, food sovereignty, digital competitiveness, energy access and connectivity. Day 1, titled “Inspire and Connect”, will feature a business forum and sessions on youth, sport and creative industries. Day 2 will address financing, development, peace and security, and will feed into preparations for France’s G7 summit in Evian.
