Paris – The Maison Élysée will host an exhibition on the honorific titles of the French President, running from 28 April to 27 June 2026. The display features about forty objects and archival documents that illustrate the origins, meanings and contemporary roles of titles such as Grand Master of the Legion d’Honneur, Grand Master of the National Order of Merit, and ceremonial positions as canon‑honorary of several cathedrals. The exhibition, in collaboration with the Museum of the Legion d’Honneur and other institutions, also includes loans from the former President Jacques Chirac’s museum, the François Mitterrand Institute, the Château de Chambord and the Institut de France library. Admission is free and no reservation is required.
