Bank of England has opened a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment for firms and software houses to test its new Statistical Taxonomy v1.3.1. The UAT window runs from 2 June to 12 June 2026 and will operate alongside live reporting for some submissions. Firms already registered with BEEDS Live are automatically enabled to use the UAT system; they do not need to request access. Software houses must request access by emailing BEEDSqueries@bankofengland.co.uk no later than 25 May 2026. Users receive a temporary password from beedsuat_donotreply and are reminded that the UAT environment is for testing only – live production data should not be submitted there. Support is available 9 am‑5 pm, Monday‑Friday. The Bank also notes that its Statistical Utility Tool will be withdrawn, so firms should arrange alternative XBRL submission methods before the live implementation.
