European Labour Authority Holds Forum on Posting of Workers

European Labour Authority (ELA) hosted a forum in Bratislava on 19-20 May to discuss the situation of non‑EU nationals posted between Member States. The European Labour Authority (FRA) participated, presenting its ongoing project on access to justice for posted non‑EU workers, which examines remedies available to workers temporarily sent to another Member State. Attendees included the European Commission, national authorities, national labour inspectorates, employers’ organisations, trade unions, and NGOs that support posted workers. The meeting aimed to address challenges faced by non‑EU workers and explore ways to improve their legal protections while they work abroad within the EU. The forum is expected to inform future policy recommendations aimed at enhancing worker rights across the Union.
