Child welfare services figures for 2023‑2025 show modest declines

Child welfare services in Norway recorded a modest decline in key indicators from 2023 to 2025. The number of children who received any measure fell from 43,954 in 2023 to 42,551 in 2025, with assistance measures dropping from 36,182 to 35,309 and care measures from 7,772 to 7,242.
