Swedish Statistics Bureau (SCB) has released its 2024 Regional Match Indicators (RMI), which illustrate the supply and demand of educated workers and the match between occupation and education at a regional level. For the first time, tables now contain data at the municipality level, made possible by the Cell Key Method (CKM) that adds a small, controlled random uncertainty to the figures, allowing detailed reporting without censoring data. In 2024, indicators E2 (job flows), E5 (occupation‑education match), and U3 (education flows) have been re‑issued with CKM, and indicator E3 (match‑education) was available last year. The highest matched occupations are dentists (99 %) and physicians (98 %). The lowest matched are bartenders (14 %) and sports coaches (17 %). The next RMI release is scheduled for June 2027. SCB will replace PxWebApi v1 with v2 in autumn 2025; v1 remains usable until the end of 2026/27.
