In 2025, Statistics Norway’s survey of working conditions among people aged 18‑66 revealed that 79.9 % of respondents were satisfied with their jobs, and 70.0 % reported feeling motivated and engaged most of the time. However, work‑related health issues were common: 40.5 % felt physically worn out after work, 35.7 % mentally drained, and 46.2 % reported two or more health problems linked to work. Physical or chemical hazards affected 13.1 % of workers, while ergonomic hazards were reported by 16.7 %. Violence, threats, sexual harassment or bullying was experienced by 16.9 % of respondents in the past year, with 5.7 % reporting violence at work and 4.9 % harassment or bullying.
