EBA-ECB-EIOPA Consult on Enhancing Data Dictionary Metamodel for Reporting

The EBA-ECB-EIOPA Data Point Model Alliance launched a two-month public consultation to improve their data dictionary metamodel, aiming to simplify and align statistical and supervisory reporting across the EU. The initiative, part of the DPM Alliance, seeks to enhance the DPM 2.1 metadata model to support integrated European reporting frameworks. Key updates include advanced metadata versioning and expanded metamodel capabilities for logical data models. The alliance also published naming conventions to ensure consistency in regulatory reporting. Submissions, which will be published unless otherwise requested, must be received by 30 September 2026. The SRB participates as an observer. The consultation follows the adoption of DPM Standard 2.0 in 2023 and builds on prior collaborations between the EBA, EIOPA, and ECB.
