Statistics Finland has released its preliminary data, revealing that Finland’s population stood at 5,571,439 at the end of April. The figures indicate an increase of 7,469 persons during the period from January to April.
The growth in population can be attributed to a migration gain from abroad, as immigration exceeded emigration by 13,597.
