In 2022, the number of Germany Scholarships awarded increased by 5%, benefiting a total of 30,500 students under the Scholarship Programme Act. This information was released by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) in their recent press release, No. 194, on May 17, 2023. The report highlights that the rise in scholarship holders was measured in comparison to the previous year, indicating a positive trend in educational support. Additionally, the proportion of students receiving scholarships in the winter semester of 2022/2023 remained at 1%, consistent with the previous year.
